| Yay, I can get back on Xanga! My internet's been screwy for a bit, and it didn't think this was a real address.
The good news: I don't have an ear infection. The bad news: I do have fluid in my ear that is having issues draining. For this reason, I am continually taking Advil Cold and Sinus, which makes me sleepier than usual. Also, if it still hurts by tomorrow, it's probably gotten infected anyway.
Last Saturday was Peter and I's one year anniversary. The only reason I mention this is that we went to White Rock and discovered that there are literally six resturants for every small shop. This kind of defeated the purpose, since we brought a picnic lunch. :P
| Ok, so it's been a while. Oops. Not too much is going on w/ me. I'm in the full swing of school, as is everyone else. I'm getting excited about a couple of papers I want to write (I'm such a nerd), and my GPA is promising to rise this semester (yay me).
Oh, I got a facebook. Honestly, I don't spend a ton of time on it, but it IS helpful on keeping up with ppl from home.
This was Canadian Thankgiving weekend. That basically means that I did less work than usual in a longer period of time. Oh, and turkey. Lots of turkey.
| After much deliberation and varying degrees of sucess in the planning dept, we have apparantly decided we're seeing transformers 6:30 on Friday at the Sunset Theatre. Come all who dare. | | |
| so, for some reason I have a deep seated desire to watch the transformers movie. Anyone care to join me on the 4th? I'm thinking 3:15 showing. | | |
| Today is the last day of June. as such, my summer break is half over. In some ways, it seems as though I just started summer (such as, it does not seem as though I've been working that long). In other ways, such as missing my friends, and yes, school, it seems an interminably long time to wait until I get back to TWU.
This next year, according to plan, is going to be my final year at Trinity. It's an odd feeling to know that a chapter in your life is about to close. I love being a student. I love classes, the people, even the work I have to do. True, I also love the fact that I get to spend time not having to work for my living as well.
speaking of work, yesterday was the annual chili cookoff, one of several cookoffs logos does during the year. It was a lot of fun (though some ppl's idea of what "chili" and "spicy" mean are suspect to investigation). My only complaint is that more ppl seem to call when no one is available than at any other time of day/week/month. it all works out I guess.
In other news, Liz and I went to Seattle last weekend (I meant to post then, but was a little busy). it was a lot of fun. we went through pike's place market (and bought beads for nacklaces), toured seattle's underground, (which has nothing to do with a railroad), and went to the zoo. We also attended an evening service of Mar's Hill Church, which both of us highly enjoied, even if the band did kinda suck. All in all a great weekend with little/no rest. fun times.
